Instructor Training
Are you an instructor in the Chicagoland area? If you’re not, maybe you’re looking to make a career change? With over 20 years of experience in the ballroom industry, Maksim offers a variety of skill sets and knowledge to help you get better as a teacher and/or dancer. He was trained by prestigious professionals from around the World such as Michael Wentink, Beata Onefater, Zachary Kholostoy, Eugene Katsevman, Maria Manusova, Viktor Kanevsky, Louis Van Amstel, Paul Killick, Allan Tornsberg, Vibeke Toft, and Ricardo Cocchi and Yulia Zagaruychenko. He has trained and worked with children and adults, both amateur and professional, from competitive dancing and Pro/am to social dancing.
Quick Facts:
- All private lessons are 45 minutes
- All private lessons are scheduled upon availability and your flexibility
- All private lessons may be reserved for a single OR couple
Certification/Experience:
- Fred Astaire Certified Dance Instructor
- Because of placing in the top 2 of U.S. National DanceSport Championships several times, I am here by automatically eligible and certified to teach the style I placed in (International Style).
- Current DVIDA instructor and is working on his full DVIDA Certification in all styles and dances (International, American, and Latin Street)
Coaching
Some would argue that Maksim is one the best mentors in Chicago. He cares about his clients and helps guide them on their path to success. That’s right. You don’t need to have all the answers and any questions you may have will be answered. Not only has Maksim been trained by worlds’ most renowned dancers but he, himself, was a top dancer in U.S. and the world. With his competitive experience, he knows exactly what it takes to guide oneself towards success. Maksim believes that coaching today is misunderstood for having a third eye once in a while help you because you can’t see it yourself or have the expertise to correct oneself. A coach is someone who is constantly dedicated to his pupil, going to every competition, preparing a full plan from start to finish, including eating habits and exercise. After all, this is a sport…
